Pariya Taherzadeh

Pariya Taherzadeh is a freelance podcast producer already making waves wherever she turns her storytelling skills.  

This year, her short documentary Jaleh's Drive For Freedom made for ABC's Days Like These podcast won gold at the prestigious New York Radio Festival Awards and a mention at the 2022 Webbys.  In 2020, her feature Escape From Iran won gold and silver in two categories at the New York awards.  

Pariya started her audio career as a producer at triplej.  She has since made podcasts across a range of genres and in a variety of roles for Mamamia, ABC Radio National, Netflix and Queensland University before starting her own business.  Pariya is also a guest lecturer and mentor in audio documentary-making at AFTRS.

She is currently working with Ear Candy and publisher Spineless Wonders as producer on the indie audio fiction series The Next 5 Minutes, written and directed by Ian Walker.

Pariya also regularly produces client-based and branded podcasts, and is currently executive producing shows in various genres for companies including Netflix and Finder.com.
